BENSALEM, PA. – (WPVI) – Police say a New Jersey man has been arrested for attempting to rob three separate banks within the span of 90 minutes…using a taxi as his getaway car…unbeknownst to the cab driver.

According to police, 26-year-old Luke Radick (pictured above) began his spree at 12:15 p.m. in Bensalem before moving on to banks in Yardley and Morrisville. According to Public Safety Director Fred Harran, “It wasn’t till after the third bank robbery that the driver realized he was being used in the commission of these bank robberies.”

Police say Radick was released on bail from prison only two days ago stemming from previous bank robbery charges. At one of his stops on his most recent robbery spree, police say he handed a teller a note with his demands…written on the back of his bail release.

No info was given as to the total fare charged.
