San Diego City Attorney: We Will Not Under Any Circumstances Represent Bob Filner

San Diego City Attorney Jan Goldsmith responded to the lawsuit filed today by Gloria Allred and client Irene McCormick against Mayor Bob “filthy” Filner for sexual harassment. The suit names Filner and the city of San Diego.

“We will not under any circumstance represent Bob Filner,” Goldsmith told reporters hours after a lawsuit accusing Filner of sexual harassment was made public. Filner has retained his own attorney. 

Shortly after the initial press conference where former allies of Filner spoke about harassment claims, Goldsmith suggested the Mayor not meet with women alone in city offices.
