Woman Irate After Diagonosed With 'Ghetto Booty'

JACKSON, Tn. – A Tennessee Doctor was on the receiving end of a complaint after allegedly diagnosing a woman patient complaining of lower back pain with “Ghetto booty.” According to the patient, Terry Ragland (pictured above) the exchange occurred after the doctor sent the nurse out of  the room to retrieve her X-ray. 

“He said, ‘I know what the problem is. It’s ghetto booty.’ and I said, ‘Ghetto what?’ He said, ‘Ghetto booty.'”

According to Ragland, the doctor offered her pain medication but told here that currently there was no cure for “Ghetto booty.”  She then reported the incident to the office manager.  A few weeks later, she received a letter of a apology from the doctor stating that he was trying to tell her that she suffered from a lumbar lordosis, a curve in her spine that makes the buttocks protrude more. 

Strangely enough, “Ghetto Booty” is listed nowhere on Web Md.
