A small group of Hong Kong filmmakers have produced a short film on Edward Snowden. The five minute movie was shot over 4 days for a total budget of $550 and released last week on You Tube. So far it has been viewed over 200,000 times.
Filmmakers shot portions of the film in the Mira Hotel in Hong Kong, the same hotel where Snowden hid out after fleeing the United States. The title of the film, Verax, comes from the codename Snowden used to communicate with the Washington Post.
