SEATTLE — A Capitol Hill man woke up Thursday morning only to find a complete stranger sleeping next to him. The victim called 911 at about 6:15 am but his new bedfellow left before officers arrived.
The victim told Seattle police that he had never seen the man before, and that he told him to leave before pushing him out the door. After which, the suspect stood on the porch and asked the victim for his bag.
Officers eventually caught up to the bedroom crasher, whom they discovered had warrants out for his arrest. He was apparently agitated and offered up a fake name He also told officers that he was invited by the victim to spend the night after they had gotten drunk together….adding that people have roommates and get invited to other people’s houses all the time.
Building off that logic, the suspect then thought it a good idea to call officers “fake Mexican” and “Uncle Tom.”
He was arrested and booked into King County Jail for investigation of burglary.
