Paul Ryan Responds To McDermott: 'People Were Singled Out Because Of Their Beliefs' (Video)

In response to IRS Scanal: McDermott Blames the Victims:

McDermott claimed that the actions of a few IRS mid-level staffers were “stupid” but not a conspiracy against conservatives, and implied that these groups shouldn’t have been applying for tax exempt status in the first place. 

Paul Ryan deviated from his original statement in order to respond to Rep. McDermott’s absurd talking points. 

“This is one of the facts we now know, Ryan asserted, “people were singled out because of their beliefs.”
