Boston’s police and firefighter unions are offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the parties responsible for the Boston Marathon Bombing.

Thomas Nee of the Boston Patrolmen’s Association said:

“We will find this person, and we will bring that person to justice,” Nee said Tuesday. “It is unacceptable that somebody could disrupt so many people’s lives in seconds, destroy some families, but we will be there for those families as we do everyday and we will offer our hands.”

Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts, Boston Firefighters Local 718, Boston Police Patrolman’s Association, Boston Police Superior Officers Federation and the Boston Police Detectives Benevolent Society are pooling the resources for the reward money.
