Horns on His Head and Halos of Light

During his sequestration press conference today, the President opined that he sometimes wishes House Republicans were more reasonable:

You know, sometimes I reflect, is there something else I can do to make these guys — I am not talking about the leaders now, but maybe some of the House Republican caucus members not to paint horns on my head?”

Does it occur to the President that the horns are no less extreme than the HALOS of LIGHT the media loved putting on his head? I mean, while you’re reflecting here, how about going the whole way. Is it more worrisome that a President’s political opponents make him out a devil or that the nations unbiased media makes him out a savior?
