Today, MSNBC host Chuck Todd asked conservative commentator, S.E. Cupp how the G.O.P. can best attract young people to the party:
Thankfully, our founder, Andrew Breitbart, left us with the answer to Todd’s question:
It should have been incorporated 30 or 40 years ago. It’s really weird how bizarrely cloistered the conservative movement is. The left is entrenched in New York City, in media row. They are entrenched in Hollywood, in the studios. And also previously the record companies, the now-obliterated record companies. That’s where the action is. How better could you communicate ideas? Polling data shows we have young people who get their news from “The Colbert Report” or “The Daily Show” The idea that the right doesn’t embrace hybrid forms of informative entertainment is insanity. I’m from Los Angeles, so I know this well. But for others it is like telling people in the desert about this great thing called water. In Washington D.C. they treat this message as a “debatable theory.”
