It's not just a tech issue

I don’t think the main take away was that we suffered from a tech gap. It’s a much more fundamental issue.

Our movement is a top-down, territorial operation. It’s an old boys network, filled with people trying to hang on to their piece of the pie, everything stays in the ‘family.’  There is little meaningful collaboration and resistence to new things. The result is that innovators, including technologists and those who have adapted to the changing poltical landscape, are marignalized and excluded. 

I’m not surprised at the example you gave Lisa, I think I know who did that presentation.  Candidates and clients often don’t know any better, they like shiny presentations.
