Now that Washington state has legalized the recreational use of marijuana, they are looking for some experts to help with the regulatory process.
…officials are hiring an adviser on all things weed: how it’s best
grown, dried, tested, labeled, packaged and cooked into brownies.
Specifically, they are looking for “product and industry knowledge,” and “at least three years of consulting experience relating to the knowledge
of the cannabis industry, including but not limited to product growth,
harvesting, packaging, product infusion and product safety.”
The state would prefer to hire one firm to handle all their marijuana needs, but they will hire individual contractors. I think “quality testing” might draw the most applicants.
