Why are journalists ignoring Baltimore Ravens center Matt Birk?

Rhetorical question, as they’d clearly rather debate linebacker Brendon Ayabadejo’s supposedly controversial view in favor of gay marriage (in a state that has already passed it) than draw attention to the fact that Baltimore center (and Harvard alum, and future Hall of Fame candidate) Matt Birk is for traditional marriage–a truly risky view.
