Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin fired off a tweet saying President Donald Trump’s administration is filled with “pirates, whores, and thieves.”

Baldwin took to his Twitter account on Wednesday to attack the Trump administration saying, “It’s pirates, whores and thieves holding every type every of resumé in this administration. But it can’t go on forever.”

An article by the International Business Times about Trump’s Consumer Financial Protection Bureau chief Mick Mulvaney sparked the actor’s ire. The article claims that Mulvaney tried to get the bureau to “back off” an industry that had “bankrolled his congressional bids.”

However, what Alec Baldwin didn’t mention is that Mulvaney made his requests to the CFPB when he was a Congressman and long before President Donald Trump appointed him to head the agency.

Baldwin’s prosaic attack on Trump came on the same day that singers Kanye West and Chance The Rapper drew the ire of the left for sticking up for Trump and for recognizing the rights of those wishing not to be pigeonholed by liberal thought police.

The 30 Rock star, of course, has long-criticized President Trump and members of his administration.

Last week the Saturday Night Live Trump impersonator launched a Twitter rant proclaiming that the midterm elections “provide us with the one real opportunity to save this country. To save it from The Untalented Madman.”
