Coldplay is looking for fans to participate in the halftime show at Super Bowl 50.
Warning: fast running is required.
Event organizers are looking for individual groups of at least 10 adults to apply as fan participants who will stand on the field cheering and dancing as Coldplay performs.
The call sheet is seeking people who meet the following description:
Be of sound physical health and capable of vigorous physical activity without assistance, including walking long distances and the ability to run onto & off of the field as directed without stopping (really, we mean run). There will be no exceptions made to this rule. The ability to run quickly is an essential function of your participation and a requirement for safety. If you are not able to run, it poses a serious safety risk to both you and to other Fan Participants.
According to CBS San Francisco, each group is required to have a “team leader,” who is at least 21 years of age, and who would be the point person for information on rehearsals, carpooling and rules on the day of the event. “Absence of any group member from any of the rehearsals may result in removal of your entire group from the show,” the sign up page notes.
There will be three rehearsal dates before the February 7 show. Interested fans can sign up here for this fun opportunity.
Beyonce and Bruno Mars will also be joining Coldplay on stage during this year’s performance, which is being sponsored by Pepsi.
