Porn’s “boy next door” James Deen is facing more accusations of sexual assault as another adult actress and a male performer-director have come forward with lurid details about alleged incidents that happened on recent porn shoots.
In an interview with Vocativ, porn actress Lily LaBeau detailed two separate incidents involving Deen on recent porn shoots, with the actress calling a 2011 incident “the most traumatic thing that’s happened to me in my career.”
Deen and LaBeau were reportedly working on a “couples-friendly” scene meant to be less kinky and graphic than most pornography. But LaBeau and director Derrick Pierce said the shoot started off on the wrong note, even when Deen was reminded of the relatively tame nature of the scene.
“The first thing he does is he walks over, I’m tied up, and he spits in my eye,” LaBeau told Vocativ. “It just went from zero to sixty, just degrading. To just start a scene by spitting in someone’s eye, especially for a more vanilla company, he knows they can’t use that.”
Pierce told the outlet that he indeed couldn’t use that footage, and that he repeatedly had to tell Deen to tone down his behavior on the set.
LaBeau recounted another incident in which Deen allegedly struck her in the face while shooting a more graphic “BDSM” scene for the porn production company Kink.com. Deen, who was not scheduled to perform in the scene, allegedly held a cattle prod up to the side of LaBeau’s head, an item that the porn actress said was firmly on her list of items that made her uncomfortable.
“The cattle prod makes me go into complete panic,” the actress said. “When you pull it out, I’m done, I’m scared, I’m crying, I can’t think.”
Later on in the shoot, LaBeau said Deen was reading a list of her “dos” and “dont’s” when he came across “foot worship.” Deen allegedly put his foot in her mouth and then struck her across the face.
“I just remember him taking his hand really far back and then just hitting me hard. Hard. Like, too hard,” the actress told Vocativ. “I heard and felt an almost crack in my ear, from my ear down to my chin. I couldn’t close my mouth.”
After the crew tended to her jaw, Pierce recalls LaBeau looking at him and mouthing the words “Help me.” Pierce reportedly asked Deen to leave, and he complied.
Another female performer involved in the shoot, who wished to remain anonymous, said she remembered Deen hitting LaBeau and injuring her jaw.
“It was a really intense night,” she told Vocativ. “And I do remember him being really aggressive with her.”
LaBeau joins five other adult film actresses who have leveled sexual assault allegations against the popular male performer this week. Last weekend, Deen’s ex-girlfriend, porn star Stoya, issued two tweets claiming Deen had raped her, even after she had used a “safe word” and repeatedly told him to stop.
Stoya’s tweets prompted actresses Tori Lux, Ashley Fires, Amber Rayne, and Kora Peters to come forward with their own graphic stories about Deen.
Deen has not yet responded to all of the allegations. On November 29, the actor issued a series of tweets calling the early accusations “false and defamatory.”
At least two major porn production companies have cut ties with the actor in the wake of the controversy.
