Today’s comedians simply can’t find anything funny about President Barack Obama. That leaves them scrambling for political targets, which usually means Gov. Sarah Palin and her family are still fair game.
Take Martin Short, the veteran of both “SCTV” and “Saturday Night Live” sketch shows. Short appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night, and he used the appearance to swat the Palin family in a most unflattering fashion.
JIMMY KIMMEL: Thank you very much. I’ve been eating a lot of Cheese Balls to prepare.
SHORT: No, I love Honey Boo, I just love, the only thing-
KIMMEL: Do you really?
SHORT: Yes.
KIMMEL: The difference between her family and the Palins is teeth, and that’s it.
