Zack Aboud, Iowa’s 43rd district temporary chair, attended GOP frontrunner Donald Trump’s fundraiser for veterans, which the frontrunner hosted instead of competing in Fox News’s GOP debate on Thursday night.
“These guys all flew in from Detroit,” Aboud told Breitbart News, pointing at his friends. “They’re all entrepreneurs and they just want to make America great again, and they see Donald as being the key to that success.”
“This alone right here, by him [putting] on a separate [event], shows how versatile and agile he is, and that’s the kind of leader we need in America,” Aboud added. “He has my support in the caucus and he has the people of Iowa’s support.”
When asked about how he thinks the caucus will go on February 1st in Iowa, when Hawkeye voters go to vote, Aboud said, “Let’s see what happens. I think Donald will win.”
