Republican Presidential candidate Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) won’t be on the main debate stage on Thursday, so he will not be in the undercard debate either.

Paul told Politico:

“We will not participate in anything that’s not first-tier.” He added that, “To exclude candidates on faulty analysis is to disenfranchise the voter.”

Fox Business Network will be hosting the sixth Republican presidential debate. They announced that they would allow for the six candidates polling the highest nationally to be at the main debate, and anyone polling within the top five in Iowa or New Hampshire.

Paul told the Washington Post that he believes his supporters will understand why he’s boycotting the debat.

“It won’t take much for our supporters to understand why we’re doing this,” Paul said. “You want war? We’ll give it to you.”
