GOP presidential candidate former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is calling out President Obama for telling Pope Francis, “We cherish religious liberty” at the White House on Wednesday.
Huckabee posted a vine with the soundbite from Obama stating, “We cherish religious liberty,” during his speech before the Pope addressed the crowd outside the White House.
The vine then shoots to the mug shot of Kim Davis, the Kentucky county clerk who refused to issue same-sex marriage licenses because of her religious beliefs, with the text that reads “…Unless you’re a Christian.”
Huckabee held a rally for Davis in Kentucky, where she was held for about a week, but later released and allowed to return to work.
