A group of pro-abortion demonstrators attempted to block thousands of pro-life marchers in front of the Supreme Court during Thursday’s March for Life, held annually on the 42nd anniversary of the  high court’s Roe v. Wade decision which made abortion legal in the United States.

As USA Today reports, when the March for Life reached the Supreme Court, a small group of pro-abortion demonstrators holding signs that read, “Abortion on demand and without apology,” stepped into the path of the marchers, yelling and blocking the pro-lifers from moving forward. Many of the pro-abortion protesters wore white pants with fake “blood” on the insides of their legs.

USA Today observed that capitol police arrested most of the pro-abortion protesters, restraining their arms with plastic ties and taking them away, as pro-lifers cheered.

Pro-lifers chanted as they marched, “Hey, hey, ho, ho, Roe v. Wade has got to go!”
