Ted Cruz Winning Battle for Evangelicals in Iowa But Losing War Nationally to Trump

The latest Iowa poll, conducted by Quinnipiac, shows the overall race between Trump and Cruz is a virtual dead heat (Trump’s 31 to 29 lead is within the poll’s margin of error). But among white evangelicals, who make up 57 percent of GOP caucus attendees, Cruz’s lead over Trump is substantial – 39 percent to 27 percent.

Why Western Civilization Has Lost Its Self-Confidence

At every turn, it seems, the weak and uncertain leadership of the West is submitting to the strength and evil certainty of radical Islam, of which Winston Churchill warned more than a century ago “no stronger retrograde force exists in the world.” History shows that strength attracts followers. The latest example that confirms this maxim is the recent report that the Islamic terrorists at ISIS are actively planning to increase their attacks on innocent civilians in the West, in an attempt to provoke one final, huge decisive battle.

A Century Before Donald Trump, Churchill Warned ‘No Stronger Retrograde Force Exists in the World’ Than Islam

If Western Civilization is to survive, it will only be as a consequence of leadership that demonstrates overwhelming power to defeat the unceasing efforts of the Islamists who seek to enslave us all in the modern caliphate first envisioned by Muhammad Ahmad in Sudan more than a century ago. It was the cold steel of Churchill’s charge at Omdurman 117 years ago that brought that first attempt to create a modern caliphate to an end.

Paul Ryan’s Omnibus Budget Surrenders to EPA Radicals

Paul Ryan’s decision to remove critical riders from the Omnibus budget bill that intended to stop the EPA’s radical and statutorily unauthorized new rules that could devastate America’s coal and farming industries is just the most recent version of the GOP white flag. Tennessee State Legislators Ready to Rebel Against Federal Government Refugee Resettlement

Several Tennessee state legislators appear ready to rebel against the implementation of the U.S. Refugee Resettlement Program after hearing testimony from Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security Commissioner Bill Gibbons that the Obama administration has failed to comply with the Refugee Act of 1980’s statutory requirement to consult with the state prior to the placement of refugees there.

Why 12 States Hold Key to Constitutional Challenge to Refugee Resettlement Program

The constitutional argument is that the federal government, without the permission of these 12 Wilson-Fish states, has “commandeered” state funds by placing refugees in their states, thereby obligating states to pay Medicaid expenses for the refugees, in violation of the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution, which states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
