Texas CPS Visits Home of Mom Who Hosted ‘Chickenpox Party’

A Texas mom received a visit by Child Protective Services (CPS) for hosting a “chickenpox party.” Amanda Witt believes that it is healthier for a child to catch chickenpox early than to be vaccinated for it. The mother from Plano, Texas, moderates a private Facebook page for 300 plus parents who hold the same belief. She said, “When one child has chickenpox, we promote playdates throughout,” she told the local CBS affiliate.

Texas Judges Not Warned of Safety Threat Prior to Shooting of Judge

A criminal court judge in Travis County, Texas, is angry that she and her fellow judges were not warned of a safety threat prior to the attempted murder of a fellow judge. County authorities did not notify the judges and simply ruled out the threat as not credible.

‘Caitlyn’ Jenner Attended Houston Megachurches for ‘Photo Ops’

HOUSTON, Texas – While in Houston filming his reality TV show and making other stops, “Caitlyn” Jenner and members of his film crew attended two megachurches whose pastors had been very vocal against Houston’s proposed “bathroom ordinance.” Rev. Dave Welch of the US Pastor Council called the events at the Christmas services, “photo ops.”

For years, police officers in the Beaumont Police Department have held a voluntary Bible study at the police station during their lunch hour. The City of Beaumont has now demanded that the officers cease doing so. The officers are sending a pre-suit letter saying the city is infringing on their religious rights.

A police dash camera video released by the Texas Rangers shows that the axe-wielding University of North Texas student killed by police yelled, “Shoot me, Shoot me,” right before he was shot. It also showed that the officer told the student to “Back away,” approximately six times before he was killed.

San Antonio, Texas, will serve as the new home of one of the U.S. Army National Guard’s new cyber units. The Guard has announced plans to activate thirteen new cyber units throughout 23 states by the end of fiscal year 2019. The effort is part of an ongoing growth of cyber forces throughout the Department of Defense.

Approximately 800 or more unaccompanied children (UAC’s) from Central America will be transferred to North Texas in Ellis and Rockwall counties. The transfer is necessary because of the wave of children who are being housed on the border.
