At Least 380 Foreign-born Convicted in Terror Cases in the U.S. Since 9/11

Of the 380 foreign-born individuals, at least 24 came to the U.S. as refugees and at least 33 were in the U.S. illegally on expired visas. According to the Subcommittee, at least 62 of the foreign-born terror convicts were from Pakistan, 28 were from Lebanon, 22 were Palestinian, 21 were from Somalia, 20 were from Yemen, 19 were from Iraq, 16 were from Jordan, 17 were from Egypt, and 10 were from Afghanistan.

Older Americans Working More and Longer, Bucking Labor Trends

The phenomenon of more older Americans working bucks overall employment trends — even as the percent of the population with a job has declined the share of employed older Americans has steadily increased. CAIR Estimates 824K Registered Voters Are Muslim, 300K More Than 2012

According to a CAIR analysis of voter information, there are currently some 824,000 registered Muslim voters. CAIR arrived at this figure by marching the voting records against a list of 43,538 traditionally Muslim names. In 2012, CAIR used the same methodology to estimate that there were around 500,00 Muslim voters.

GAO: More Than a Third of Visa Waiver Countries Failing to Share Terrorists’ Info With U.S.

The Visa Waiver Program allows foreign nationals from 38, largely European, countries to travel to the U.S. without a visa for tourist and businesses stays up to 90 days.
