Healthcare Pushes Back on Obamacare’s Rising Costs

Two Georgia healthcare systems are taking on Obamacare  in their own special way. In an effort to mitigate the rising insurance costs that the full implementation of Obamacare will bring, the two healthcare systems will be offering a direct healthcare provider-to-patient health option that squeezes out the middle-man, also known as the insurance company.

The healthcare option will be offered to  the  healthcare systems employees and families, and depending on how well this ‘trial run’ goes, it could be expanded to the general public.

It seems as if this healthcare option has been becoming a more viable option for many healthcare providers, as some Dentists and Medical Doctors are offering their very own in-house dental and medical insurance plans.  Now there is talk that a couple of Florida healthcare systems are possibly  considering offering the same health option in and around South Florida.

With the full implementation of Obamacare coming in 2014, will this health option become  a way the healthcare industries side-step the rising costs of Obamacare, a move that would all but force insurance companies to make health insurance premium concessions?
