Dem Rep: Boehner Calling Taliban Terrorists 'Not Necessarily Accurate'

Tuesday on MSNBC, Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) reacted to House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) calling the Taliban “terrorists.”

The Taliban provided a safehaven for al Qaeda during their rule of Afghanistan from 1996 to 2001 with an enforcement of Sharia law, which included mass public executions, public flogging and making the education of woman illegal. They also have reportedly committed massacres against Afghan civilians regularly and in 2001 denied U.N. food supplies to 160,000 starving civilians.
