Lindsey Graham: US Should Consider Boycotting 2014 Sochi Olympics if Russia Grants Snowden Asylum

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said the United States should consider boycotting the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi if Russia grants NSA leaker Edward Snowden asylum. 

When The Hill asked the Gang of Eight senator about whether he would urge the Obama administration to consider a boycott of the Winter Olympics, he said, “I would. I would just send the Russians the most unequivocal signal I could send them.”

As The Hill noted, Graham’s comments came after Snowden officially applied for temporary asylum in Russia on Tuesday.
