Joe Scarborough Tells 'The View' He'd Vote for a Democrat for President

On Tuesday, MSNBC host Joe Scarborough said he would be open to voting for a Democrat for president. 

Appearing on The View to promote his book that argues Republicans can win elections again if they renounce Tea Party “amateurs” and embrace more moderates, Scarborough was asked on the program if he would vote for a Democrat in a presidential election. 

“Yeah, I would,” he said without pause. “I mean, if we keep going in this direction, you know, I would. I haven’t had to actually try that theory out yet, and hopefully our party will turn things around.”
