According to the White House pool report, minutes after making his public statement Wednesday about the beheading of American journalist James Foley at the hands of ISIS, President Obama went directly to the golf course at Martha’s Vineyard where he’s vacationing. His golf partners are Alonzo Mourning, Glenn Hutchins, and Cy Walker.
Before returning to the golf course, in his statement the president said, “We will be vigilant and we will be relentless” in pursuing justice for Foley.
After the release of the ISIS video Tuesday, British Prime Minister David Cameron cut his vacation short.
