On Friday, Susan Page, the Washington, D.C. bureau chief for USA Today, said comprehensive immigration reform was 2013’s biggest loser. She also said she did not think amnesty would pass next year.
When asked on CNN’s The Lead what was the “biggest loser” of 2013, Page answered, “Immigration reform.”
“That was the thing that was going to pass this year with the pathway to citizenship for the millions of people who are here as [illegal] aliens and that has not happened,” Page said. “It’s not really likely to happen in the next year, either.”
