While answering questions outside of a fundraiser on Friday, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) stated of President Trump, “I think he’s going to get himself out.”
Feinstein was asked of President Trump, “There’s so many things that he’s doing that are unconstitutional. How are we going to get him out?” She answered, “Well, we have a lot of people working at this…And I think he’s going to get himself out.”
Feinstein added that she’s working on multiple bills that deal with conflict of interest, but that working on it is difficult because there isn’t a lot of prior legislation on the matter.
She was later asked if she thought Trump had committed “impeachable offenses?” Feinstein responded that she “can’t answer that right now.”
