Larry Wilmore: I Won’t Take It Easy on Obama at WHCD Because There’s ‘Not Enough Time To Sic The IRS After Me’

During an interview broadcast during CNN’s coverage of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on Saturday, the dinner’s host, Larry Wilmore, joked that he wouldn’t hold back on making fun of the president because “There’s not enough time to sic the IRS after me.”

Wilmore said, in response to a question on whether he would take it easy on the president because it was his last Correspondents’ Dinner, “What are they going to do? There’s not enough time to sic the IRS after me. Very little time — maybe I shouldn’t say that on TV. But that’s part of the fun, but it’s all in good-natured fun.”
