Clarence Page: Obama’s Exec Amnesty Constitutional, ‘Especially’ ‘When You Got Fruit On the Vines’ That Needs To Be Picked

Chicago Tribune Editorial Board member Clarence Page argued President Obama’s executive action on immigration is “constitutional” and “especially now when you got fruit on the vines out there waiting for people to pick it” the president can “very easily” argue that action needed to be taken on Friday’s “McLaughlin Group.”

Page said, “I think it’s constitutional under the president’s powers, emergency powers, and other executive powers. It’s a kind of regulatory enforcement other presidents have done in the past, and especially now when you’ve got fruit on the vines out there waiting for people to pick it. The president can make the argument, very easily that we need to take some action, right now.”
