Per a report by WMCAtionNews5, a Memphis, TN woman was accused of shooting a man and his pregnant girlfriend during a robbery that took place in January.
Shelby Isaac,18, is charged with three counts of first-degree murder for what family and friends of the couple believe was over hair extensions.
EJ Tate and Edwina Thomas are two of the owners of a business called VirginHair4US.com and it is believed the extensions of hair, valued at up to $250 each, may have been the reason for the murders.
“They didn’t have to do this,” Tate’s father said. “If they wanted the hair, I’m pretty sure he would say you can have this hair. My life is not worth it.”
According to witnesses, Isaac went through Tate’s pockets after she shot him.
Victoria Seay, 18, is also charged for her part as the getaway driver in the alleged murder.
