Giuliani: AG Lynch Will Indict Hillary if the FBI Recommends Charges

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” former New York City Major Rudy Giuliani said in the past when he was a prosecutor, he worked with now-U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch who he said he thought was very fair. Thus, Giuliani said he believes if the FBI recommends Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton be indicted for her handling of classified information on her private, unsecured email server, Lynch will go forward with charges.

Host Sean Hannity asked, “Let’s assume that the FBI completes its investigation and they discover that there is enough evidence to indict and they bring this information to the attorney general and the Obama administration, Loretta Lynch. Let’s say that we can point and cite example after example of people who were prosecuted, who did go to jail.”

Giuliani interjected, “There are people that did, General Petraeus.”

Hannity continued, “Let’s say they decide not to prosecute her, because of her name or stature. She’s running for president. What does that do to our criminal justice system?”

Giuliani said, “It hurts our criminal justice system. Probably means should a Republican get elected you’ll have the Department of Justice  put under investigation … These are serious things. If she didn’t do it, then the FBI report would clearly indicate that — if she did, I frankly, I know Loretta Lynch. I believe if the FBI recommends prosecution — I believe Attorney General Lynch will indict.”

He added, “This is a very fair woman, so I have a lot of confidence in her.”
