Monday on his radio show, conservative talker Mark Levin sounded off on those attacking Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson, including those on the Republican side, who he suggested were using liberal talking points in their attacks.
However, Levin also went after the media, including “The O’Reilly Factor” host Bill O’Reilly. Although Levin did not mention O’Reilly by name, he did attack him for what he called a “smear” on President Ronald Reagan for his book, “Killing Reagan.”
“And let me say this: I’m skeptical of all the media – all of it,” Levin said. “When the highest-rated program on our favorite cable network is hawking a book that trashes the greatest president – certainly in modern history – certainly in the top two or three of all history — a record in defeating the Soviet Union, a record of pushing communism out of this hemisphere, a record in the greatest economic growth, probably in American history, a record that made America proud again – proud again. A man who built up the United States military. A man who built a shining city on a hill. A man who turned this country around when the last left-wing kook president was driving us into the sewer. When a so-called conservative network, and the highest-rated show is pedaling a smear on this man. Shame on him and shame on them. That is correct.”
