On Thursday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “The Kelly File,” Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke sounded off on protests surrounding the shooting of an armed suspect by police in Missouri in recent day. According Clarke, there has been a “collapse of the social order” in some ghettos and that was what was driving the anti-police sentiment plaguing some municipalities across America.
According to Clarke, in that particular instance, the actions of the suspect led to his death.
“Young black men are going to have to realize that authority figures have to be respected,” Clarke said. “You cannot point a gun at a police officer and expect nothing to happen. You cannot, you will not, you shall not point a firearm at a law enforcement officer.”
