Thursday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” host Andrea Mitchell said while Vice President Joe Biden is deciding whether or not to challenge former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination, he is taking into account that he “thinks that he would be a better president than Hillary Clinton.”
Mitchell said, “I think it’s very clear that he would like to run. He thinks that he would be a better president than Hillary Clinton. He thinks that he is really qualified, having been vice president, having to run for president though unsuccessfully before, all of his years in the Senate. I don’t think he’s close to making this decision. It is so wrapped up in the loss of his son who wanted him to run, what the family needs are, the grandchildren, the children, and the fact that it would be very tough to raise the money for a national campaign.”
