Schweizer: Clintons Will Have ‘Serious Problem’ If They Only Rely On Old Machine

“Clinton Cash” author and Breitbart Senior Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer argued the Clintons will have “a serious problem” if they solely rely on their political machine on Thursday’s “Lou Dobbs Tonight” on the Fox Business Network.

Schweizer said that the Clintons’ actions regarding Sidney Blumenthal “extended what I call the Clinton blur to the State Department by basically paying him through the Clinton Foundation, but he became this sort of unofficial official advisor to Hillary Clinton.” And that claims about the Benghazi attack being motivated by a YouTube video were “totally about covering politically.”

He added, “I think if they’re relying on the political machine that they have, and that everything’s going to be fine. I think they’re going to have a serious problem. This is not the day in politics that it was in the 1990s or previously when you could have a political machine of high-net worth individuals who could raise all this money for you.”
