Wednesday on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg,” the host of “News One Now,” Roland Martin, said President Barack Obama should get criticism for calling the Baltimore rioters “thugs.”
Martin said it is a sensitive word because it seems to be only applied to African Americans. Citing the Wall Street bailout, he said, “We have folks in Baltimore—you want to call them thugs—OK?— for thuggish activity, for looting. Well how about the Wall Street cats that looted America?”
Martin said if the mayor of Baltimore was criticized and walked back her thug comments, then President Barack Obama should be criticized as well.
