Rick Perry: I Want to Be President

Former Texas Governor Rick Perry (R) indicated that he wants to president in an interview broadcast on Sunday’s “State of the Union” on CNN.

Perry was asked “why do you want to be president?” To which he responded, “I love this country. I’ve been involved in public service since I was a young man who put on the uniform of the United States Air Force. By the grace of God, I was elected to the State House, in what I thought was going to be a short period of time, now 30 years later, I’m still having the great privilege to get to serve and to give back to this country.”
