Kerry: ‘There Is an Uptick in the Level of Terrorism’

Secretary of State John Kerry declared “there is an uptick in the level of terrorism” on Sunday’s “This Week” on ABC.

Kerry clarified and stuck by his earlier comments that “there is actually less threat and less probability of people dying in some sort of violent conflict today than at any time in human history,” but went on to say “there is an uptick in the level of terrorism, and specific incidents of people being killed. And that threat is very, very real. Nobody’s trying to minimize it. President Obama has put together a coalition of countries that have come together. We’re all super focused on this, and we are focused on the Internet/cyberspace battle also.”
