Speaking at the Heritage Foundation “Resource Bank 2014” on Friday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) used a line from the 1987 romantic comedy “The Princess Bride” when calling for a special counsel to investigate the Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservatives.
Cruz pointed to President Barack Obama’s disconnect on the issue by citing the president’s Super Bowl Sunday interview with Bill O’Reilly. Obama had said the investigation into the IRS scandal had found “not even a smidgen of corruption.” Cruz quoted fictional character Inigo Montoya and said, “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”
