WAM Abu Dhabi, Jan 13th, 2013 (WAM)–Two Asians were killed today in Mussafah 11 district in Abu Dhabi when an empty fuel tank exploded in a maintenance shop, causing huge damages.
The operations room of civil defence had received a report about the incident at 09: 27 am. Based on the report, the firefighters squad swung to the scene of incident, where the dead people were moved to the preventive medicine.
The investigation is still underway to determine causes incident.
Lt. Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Civil Defence in Abu Dhabi, has called for taking more precautions to avoid occurrence of such incidents.
