Dec. 8 (UPI) — A Pennsylvania judge sentenced the son of convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky to prison Friday.

Jeffrey Sandusky, 42, pleaded guilty in September to 14 sex abuse counts relating to his February arrest on charges he requesting nude photos of underage girls. Centre County President Judge Pamela Ruest sentenced Sandusky, the adopted son of the former Penn State football defensive coordinator serving up to 60 years in prison on child molestation charges, to three and a half to seven years in state prison, the Centre Daily Times reported.

The court will also require Sandusky to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, WJAC reported.

Sandusky’s attorney, Lance Marshall, asked for a prison sentence of three to six years, arguing that his client never had physical contact with the two victims. Sandusky reportedly requested the photos in 2013, but police weren’t notified until fall 2016.
