The arrests of Aaron Hernandez, Ray Rice, and Adrian Peterson have reinforced the perception of the NFL as the National Felons League. But police actually arrest NFL players at about one-eighth the clip of the rate for comparable men in society.
Like a trap play or a reverse, not everything is how it appears.
A site called Qprism.com has produced an infographic detailing what teams field the most arrested players (Vikings), what player found himself in handcuffs the most (Adam “Pac Man” Jones), and what crime leads to the most arrests (driving while intoxicated).
