Colorado State Senator Ted Harvey, honorary chairman of the Stop Hillary PAC, was a guest on Breitbart News Daily with SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon on Tuesday.
“The reason I wanted to start this PAC, first and foremost, is that I have a brother who’s in the foreign service and has served in embassies throughout the Middle East,” said Harvey. He added:
After the Benghazi situation, and the murder of four American heroes, and Hillary Clinton trying to do everything she could to avoid any responsibility for that, I knew I just couldn’t sit back and let that go without an effort being put forth to hold her accountable and make sure that she never becomes the President of the United States.
“I also wanted to make sure that we put as much pressure, and as much impact, to the American people about what Hillary Clinton’s history is,” he continued. “She has a trail of corruption that goes back for over 30 years. I wanted to make sure that the liberal media could not whitewash the Clinton history.”
When Bannon noted that the media have studiously avoided asking Clinton tough questions about the corruption uncovered by a few dedicated researchers, like Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer, Harvey called it evidence that the media were “trying to do everything they can to make sure that she’s the next president and that she can be the first female President of the United States.”
To counter this effort, the Stop Hillary PAC has been running commercials during the Democrat primary debates “to remind the American people who she is.”
Harvey said that his PAC has become “the largest right-of-center organization in the country,” with over 1.5 million members, since it was launched 24 months ago, its explosive growth fueled by social media and email. He advised listeners to visit the StopHillaryPAC.org website to get involved.
“Sign up. Watch the videos that are on there. Help us be able to finance putting these commercials on the air, like we have during the Democrat debates,” he urged, adding:
The impact of the Stop Hillary PAC has been substantial. When the Benghazi hearing was first announced, we asked our members to sign petitions asking for Trey Gowdy and the Committee to subpoena Hillary Clinton. We dropped off over 250,000 petitions asking Trey Gowdy to subpoena Hillary Clinton and bring her in, question her under oath, and ask the questions that must be answered about Benghazi.
“Fast forward another four months, and we did a similar thing, saying these are the questions that need to be asked. We dropped off over 500,000 signed petitions from our members across the country to put pressure on the Benghazi hearings,” he continued. “The Democrats have even said that it’s the Stop Hillary PAC that has forced the Benghazi hand on the email server.”
Harvey said the membership of his organization is motivated to “make sure that one of the most corrupt individuals in American politics never becomes President of the United States.”
