ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (AP) — A Vermont man who used to house-sit for character actor Luis Guzman has agreed to stay at least 300 feet away from him.

The Caledonian-Record reports (https://bit.ly/1LsvLIz) that Guzman alleged in court documents that Joda Hodge was stalking him. The 58-year-old Guzman was granted a temporary restraining order in April.

In a court settlement Thursday, the 39-year-old Hodge agreed to not have contact with Guzman, who lives in Sutton.

Hodge had been house- and dog-sitting for Guzman, who has appeared in such films as “Boogie Nights” and “Carlito’s Way.”

But Guzman says the relationship soured after Hodge brought a gun last month. Guzman says Hodge agreed to leave but then sent Guzman a text message a week later that made him fear for his safety.
