Geller: With Blood Still in the Streets of Paris, New York Times Defends Islam

Blood still stains the streets of Paris. France is in a deep state of shock; it is a nation of walking wounded. A British survivor of the concert at Bataclan tells how ISIS terrorists “tortured wounded victims by slitting their stomachs with knives.” The media isn’t reporting these gruesome details. They are over Paris – not even a week has passed and the New York Times, the Associated Press and the rest of elite herd are promoting and proselytizing for Islam. It chills the blood.

Fifteen years and 27,000 deadly Islamic attacks after 9/11, the New York Times is Defend[ing] Islam From Being Hijacked by ISIS.” Where’s the New York Times’s piece on “Defend[ing] Islam” from being “hijacked” by al Qaeda? Boko Haram? Hamas?  Hezb’Allah? Al-Shabaab? The Muslim Brotherhood? Or any of these other designated Islamic terrorist organizations: Abdullah Azzam Shaheed, Brigade, Abu Nidal Organization, Abu Sayyaf, al-Aqsa Foundation, al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, Al-Badr, al-Gama’a al-Islamiyya, Al Ghurabaa, al-Haramain Foundation, Al-Itihaad al-Islamiya, al-Qaeda in Iraq, al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, Al-Shabaab, Takfir wal-Hijra, Al-Umar-Mujahideen, Ansar al-Islam, Jamaat Ansar al-Sunna, Ansar Dine, Ansaru, Armed Islamic Group of Algeria, Army of Islam, Osbat al-Ansar, Caucasus Emirate, Deendar Anjuman, Dukhtaran-e-Millat, East Turkestan Islamic Movement, East Turkestan Liberation Organization, Egyptian Islamic Jihad, El Kaide Terör Örgütü Türkiye Yapılanması, Great Eastern Islamic Raiders’ Front, Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Haqqani network, Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami, Harkat-al-Jihad al-Islami in Bangladesh, Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, Harakat-Ul-Mujahideen/Alami, Hezb-e-Islami Gulbuddin, Hezbollah Military Wing, Hezbollah External Security Organisation, Hilafet Devleti, Hizb ut-Tahrir, Hizbul Mujahideen, Hofstad Network, Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, Indian Mujahideen, Aden-Abyan Islamic Army, Islamic Jihad – Jamaat Mujahideen, Islamic Jihad Union, Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, Jabhat al-Nusra, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Jamaat Ul-Furquan Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh, Jamiat al-Islah al-Idzhtimai, Jamiat ul-Ansar, Jamiat-e Islami, Jemaah Islamiyah, Jamaah Ansharut Tauhid, Jund al-Sham, Jundallah, Kata’ib Hezbollah, Khalistan Commando Force, Khalistan Zindabad Force, Khuddam ul-Islam, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, Moroccan Islamic Combatant Group, Muslim Brotherhood, Palestine Liberation Front, Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, People’s Congress of Ichkeria and Dagestan, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command, Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan, Society of the Revival of Islamic Heritage, Stichting Al Aqsa, Students Islamic Movement of India, Supreme Military Majlis ul-Shura of the United Mujahideen Forces of Caucasus, Taliban, Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Shariat-e-Mohammadi, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, United Liberation Front of Assam, World Uygur Youth Congress…?

In other words, ISIS is nothing new. This “hijacking” has been going on for quite some time, and is considerably more widespread than ISIS. Who is the New York Times trying to kid?

In the wake of 9/11, the New York Times went to their appointed moderate imam to sell the same steaming pile of dung that they are selling today. Their imam was Anwar al-Awlaki – the imam of the 9/11 Muslim terrorists and other jihadis. Fifteen years later, they have learned nothing. How did Anwar al-Awlaki not teach them anything? No. No mea culpa, no introspection. As an authority, the Times still cites Ibrahim Hooper of the Hamas-tied Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Where’s Ibn Warraq? Robert Spencer? Bat Ye’or? Where are the scholars of Islam who explain what is happening and why? What’s it going to take?

There are daily attacks on Jews by Muslim terrorists who are incited to this genocide by their imams and their holy book; these pass unremarked by the Times and the rest of the mainstream media. A passenger jet is blown out of the sky in cause of Allah and it’s forgotten by the elite press two weeks later.

More than twenty jihad terror plots against New York City have been thwarted since 9/11. There have been plots to blow up synagogues in New York City, and the New York City subway – and the New York Stock Exchange, Ciigroup headquarters, JFK Airport, and more. None of these were thwarted by “moderate Muslims.” A November report by the Department of Homeland Security shows there are 900 active investigations into jihadists here in the U.S., with the vast majority of those tied to ISIS.

And today, ISIS threats – including specific threats to New York City and Washington – abound. New York City is in lockdown, and Washington is on high alert. And the New York Times reports, “the Connecticut Office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations is calling for more police protection around mosques in the state.” What? Let’s waste precious law enforcement resources on guarding mosques from non-existent threats (and from Muslims who wish to provide proof of “Islamophobia” by faking hate crimes, as has happened so often in the past).

The director of CAIR’s Connecticut chapter, Mongi Dhaouadi, is quoted saying: “We are extremely concerned about these latest developments in our state and about a growing trend of hate crimes against Muslims and mosques around the country. Law enforcement has a duty to protect residents and to keep houses of worship safe from these attacks.” Why isn’t Hamas-CAIR “extremely concerned” about the Islamic texts and teachings that incite jihad? Because they are true believers, and their jihad is stealthy but just as deadly.

The apologists and PR hacks for Islam that the Times quotes claim to know the “real Islam,” as distinct from what happened in Paris. The caliph of the Islamic State (ISIS), whom they allege “perverts” and “hijacks” Islam, has a Ph.D. in Islamic theology. Millions of Muslims, including ISIS, eat, sleep, and breathe Islam. They pray in between killings, kneeling to pray in the blood of their victims, or rape children and then say, “Raping you is my prayer to Allah.”

In mainstream media pieces like this one, lip service is paid to condemning the attacks in Paris or London or New York or Mumbai or Canada (never Israel), but the texts and teachings that have inspired this 1,400-year war on life, on freedom, on humanity are never condemned.

A Muslima on Fox wears an American flag hijab, and the New York Times heralds her patriotism. Maybe they are misreading it. Maybe it is Islamic supremacism. A garment does nothing to stop this war. An American flag hijab — if you wrapped the black flag of jihad around the White House, would that be patriotic? Saba Ahmed, the hijab-flag wearer, says: “This is an opportunity for us to share our faith and hopefully change some hearts and minds.” Islamic slaughter in the streets, concert halls, sports stadiums, bars and cafe of Paris — victims mostly under 30 – and she sees this as a good time to “share our faith.” That’s brutal.

The Times runs a tweet from a Muslim: “‘If anyone kills an innocent person, it would be as if he has killed the whole of mankind.’ (Qur’an 5:32)” This is not really some wonderful statement of Islamic moderation. It is a Jewish principle, stolen from the Talmud. Robert Spencer explains this Qur’an passage: “It is not a general prohibition of killing — there are big exceptions for those who kill ‘for a soul or for corruption in the land.’ Second, this is not a general command, but one only for the Children of Israel. Third, ‘many of them, after that … were transgressors’ — so all it is really saying is that Allah gave a command to the Children of Israel and they transgressed against it.” Even worse, “it is followed by v. 33, which specifies the punishment for the corruption and transgressions of the Children of Israel: ‘Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment.’” The New York Times doesn’t quote that verse.

But it does quote a Muslim saying, “Being human beings and followers of Islam, it’s our duty to condemn innocent killings across the globe.” Who is innocent? In Islam, the infidels aren’t innocent.

The Times also tells this story: “Other Muslims have tried to demonstrate compassion on the same streets where the terrorists tried to sow fear. A man wearing a blindfold stood in the Place de la République in Paris doling out hugs. He asked Parisians to embrace him, signifying their trust in him. Many passers-by did, and millions more watched this public display of solidarity on Facebook and YouTube.” This story has been told umpteen times. What does it tell us? That Westerners are compassionate and kind even in times of abject grief? Or are we supposed to be grateful that a Muslim would hug the filthy kuffar?

The individual Muslims who are quoted in the Times piece are just that: individuals. What they have to say is purely anecdotal. There are no individual rights in Islam, no unique soul. So it’s just so much confetti. As is the Times, execrable agitprop that serves to advance the goals of our enemy.
