The Algemeiner reports: The resignation of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri on Saturday and his criticism of Iran should serve as a “wakeup call for everyone,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a BBC interview on Sunday.
Appearing on “The Andrew Marr Show” ahead of his return to Israel following a five-day trip to London, Netanyahu noted of the latest development across his country’s northern border, “It says what the Middle East is really experiencing. It’s experiencing the attempt of Iran to conquer the Middle East, to dominate it and subjugate it.”
“I think that when Israelis and Arabs…agree on one thing, people should pay attention,” Netanyahu continued. “We should stop this Iranian takeover.”
