Watch: ABC’s Stephanopoulos Asks Seth Moulton What Sets Him Apart from Other ‘Patriotic Democrats’ Running in 2020

Representative Seth Moulton (D-MA) on Monday announced his presidential candidacy in the 2020 presidential election on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

“Good Morning America” host George Stephanopoulos noted the Iraq War veteran is the 19th Democrat to jump into the race and asked what sets him apart from all of the other “patriotic Democrats” in the race.

“You’re a patriot, but there are 18 other patriotic Democrats in the race candidate in the race as well. You’re the 19th official candidate. What sets you apart? What do you offer that no one else does?” quizzed Stephanopoulos.

“Well, first off, I’m going to talk about patriotism, about security, about service,” Moulton replied. “These are issues that for too long Democrats have ceded to Republicans. And we’ve got to stop this.”

Moulton later made clear that he is set apart from the other Democrats running in that he is not a socialist.
